Summer Update

You know it's been a while since you have updated your blog when your husband starts nagging you to put a post up!
We have had a busy summer! It felt like a real summer break because we had Kayden's first day of VPK looming in the middle of August. That day has come and gone and our break it officially over.
Here is some of what we got up to this summer...

MeMa got Kayden swim lessons with Sharks and Minnows. He LOVED the class(and had a mega crush on the teacher) and now is a little fish.

Liam's best bud Jema came for a sleep over so we had a pj day. They enjoyed testing all of my baby proofing! Unfortunately Liam had no desire to follow in Jema's very mobile foot steps but they had a blast none the less.

Kayden and Liam are the best of friends(most of the time).  Every time I'm worried that Kayden is being a little too rough with him, Liam just cracks up. They have their own games and language and you can even hear Kayden talking to Liam in their room at night(when they are supposed to be sleeping).

Auntie Andrea came out for a day at Sea World. It was incredibly hot but we always enjoy visits from Andrea!

Some days were so busy that both boys were falling asleep as soon as their bottoms hit a seat. Both of them fell asleep while eating at least once, sometimes mid bite.

Kayden is obsessed with taking pictures. I have lost count of the times that he has brought me my phone and asked me to take a picture of all of us. I guess I should be thankful for this since it is rare that I am in front of the camera!

And then the big day came. The first day of school. He was so excited!! Our school is just a block away so we walk every day. We are looking forward to cooler weather but both boys seems to really love our daily wagon rides. Kayden loves school and gives me daily reports on the going ons of the playground and his new friends.




It's been a great summer and the fall(my favorite season) is shaping up to be a doozie as well!
