Pool fun

If you ask the boys what their favorite part of the new house is they will say the pool every time. It is the easiest way to get their energy out and keep them entertained until their hands are wrinkly. Since this pool doesn't have a heater we have had to shut it down for the year as the water temp is hovering in the low 70's. The first thing we will do in the spring is put some solar heaters up so the swimming season can last a little longer next year.

Snails seems to love hanging out along the edges of the pool cage, a discovery that my sister's kids made a few weeks ago. They caught 14 snails in all and kept trying to get them to make friends. After a quick google image search my mom and I decided that they were doing more than just making friends. We will know for sure in a few months if there is a bloom of baby snails in my back yard :)

Even Collin warmed up to swimming, as long as getting a ride on Mema was included !

This was the last pool party the boys had. I think the kids spent more time talking themselves into jumping into the colder than normal pool than actually swimming.
