Easter

The Easter bunny has come and gone again! This year was the first year Liam could really grasp what was going on so it was fun seeing him get excited. We do Easter a little differently than most. The whole month of April we talk about the Resurrection and play with a great puzzle we got on Etsy a few years ago. On Good Friday the Jesus in the puzzle is gone. On Easter Sunday the kids wake up to a string that they follow to find Christ. This is where they also find their Easter baskets. Our Easter bunny only leaves one thing of candy and the rest is toys. This year he even left the boys tooth brushes because he knew Mema had all of the candy at her house!

We had blueberry pancakes, fresh from our berry picking the day before.

And headed off to Church!

Then we head to Mema and Deda's for an egg hunt and Easter dinner

Kayden was VERY successful in his egg hunting!
